Woman Grabbed By Her Throat On Morgan Street: JPD
Sunday night's domestic violence in the 600 block of Morgan Street resulted in the arrest of Joliet resident Edward Luebke, 60.
JOLIET, IL — A 60-year-old Joliet man from the 600 block of Morgan Street remains in the Will County Jail after Joliet police say he attacked a woman he knows, grabbing her by the throat.
Sunday night's incident happened around 7 p.m., resulting in the arrest of Edward Luebke on charges of domestic battery.
Officers determined the woman was attacked by Luebke at his residence on Morgan Street, according to Joliet police.

"Further investigation revealed that during an argument in the residence, Luebke grabbed the victim by the throat," police spokesman Dwayne English announced. "Luebke was located on the scene and placed into custody without incident."
The victim was uninjured, English noted.

Luebke remained in the Will County Jail on Wednesday, unable to post his $5,000 bail.
