Woman's Nose Poked With Key Fob, Man, 34, Arrested: JPD
The early morning domestic violence happened at a Joliet house in the 500 block of North William Street, Joliet police announced.

JOLIET, IL — A 34-year-old Joliet man who poked a woman in the face with a car key fob, injuring her nose, is no longer in Will County's Jail after posting 10 percent of his $20,000 bail over the weekend, according to Joliet police reports.
Rene Alonzo Jr., who comes from the 500 block of North William Street, was arrested early Friday morning on charges of domestic battery and interfering with the reporting of domestic violence
Around 12:40 a.m., Joliet police were called Alonzo's place after officers learned that Alonzo beat up a woman he was romantically involved with, according to police reports.

"During an argument, Alonzo struck the victim in the face with a car key fob, causing injury to the victim’s nose," police spokesman Dwayne English said. "Alonzo also pulled the victim’s hair and slapped her in the face multiple times."
Alonzo then left the residence, but returned a short time later, police reports show.

Officers placed Alonzo into custody without any problems, and Alonzo's victim refused medical assistance, English noted.
