Wrong Way Driver, 2 Teen Arrests, Loaded Gun Found: JPD
The 17-year-old juvenile was cited for driving the wrong way and having no driver's license, Joliet police announced.

JOLIET — A 17-year-old boy who was driving the wrong way on the city's east side around midnight over the weekend was arrested as was his 19-year-old passenger, Dominic Frausto, in connection with loaded gun charges, Joliet police arrest reports show.
Frausto was arrested and released on a Notice to Appear on charges of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of ammunition. The 17-year-old driver was brought to the River Valley Justice Center on identical charges.

On Saturday, at 11:59 p.m., an officer pulled over the Chevrolet Suburban near East Washington Street and Union Street because the 17-year-old boy was driving the wrong direction on the one-way street.
The juvenile did not have a valid driver’s license and when Joliet police searched the car, officers recovered a loaded handgun from the center console of the vehicle.

"During this investigation, officers located additional ammunition at the residence of the juvenile, following a consent search," English announced.
The juvenile was also cited for driving the wrong way and having no driver’s license.
