1,880 La Grange ComEd Customers Without Power
For some time, the utility's outage map included no local outages.
LA GRANGE, IL — The ComEd outage map now indicates more than 1,880 customers are without power in La Grange. Until a half hour ago, the map included no outages in La Grange. According to ComEd, the first reports in La Grange happened at 3:45 p.m.
Tornado warnings had been issued for much of the Chicago area, with wind gusts of 80 mph, hail the size of a quarter and downed trees and power lines reported as the severe weather passed through northern Illinois.
According to the latest ComEd report, 462,000 customers are affected by power outages. That's out of 4 million customers.

Residents should call 1-800-EDISON1 in the event of a power outage. Residents should stay away from any downed lines.
