2 La Grange Churches Damaged: Cops

A man was arrested on a charge of aggravated battery at the hospital, police said.

LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange police released their latest police blotter Friday. Here is information from the reports:

Church damage

  • A service door to a garage at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 124 N. Spring Ave., was reported damaged on June 9. Shoe prints were seen on the door, indicating it had been kicked in. No property was missing.
  • Two windows were reported broken, apparently with rocks, June 9 at La Grange Bible Church, 850 Seventh Ave.

Aggravated battery

  • Luke Wroblewski, 42, of Hickory Hills, was arrested about 5 p.m. June 9 at the La Grange hospital, 5101 Willow Springs Road, on a charge of aggravated battery.

Argument

  • Two residents of Bella Terrace La Grange nursing home, 4735 Willow Springs Road, argued over noise issues Saturday. One struck the other. No one was hurt.

  • A 32-year-old man of Matteson was cited about 8 a.m. Monday in the 700 block of South La Grange Road on charges of a commercial driver's license out-of-service order, no insurance, improper display of license plates, unsafe tires and no safety sticker displayed.
