3 Cars Stolen From La Grange Business: Cops

Two of the cars have been recovered, police said.

LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange police released their latest police blotter Monday. Here is information from the reports:

  • Three cars were reported stolen Nov. 27 from Gerber Collision & Glass, 300 Washington Ave. Two of the cars were recovered, while another remains unaccounted for. Police said the investigation continues
  • A resident in the 800 block of South Madison Avenue told police Dec. 2 that he was the victim of identity theft when someone filed a fraudulent unemployment insurance claim. No monetary loss was reported.
  • A 20-year-old Melrose Park man was arrested about 4 a.m. Dec. 1 on charges of having no valid driver's license, no car insurance, a suspended registration, and no license plate light. Police said the man has never been issued a driver's license.
