$300K Winning Lottery Ticket Sold In Lyons
The two winners will split the $600,000 jackpot, so each will get $300,000.

LYONS, IL — If you bought a Lucky Day Lotto ticket in Lyons, you might want to check it. According to Illinois Lottery, a gas station in Lyons and a bowling alley in New Lenox each sold winning Lucky Day Lotto tickets in the Thursday, Aug. 16 mid-day drawing. The two winners will split the $600,000 jackpot, so each will get $300,000.
The winning Lucky Day Lotto Quick Pick tickets were purchased at Quik Mart, 8204 47th St., in Lyons. The New Lenox prize has already been claimed. Both tickets matched all five numbers – 14 - 24 - 28 - 39 - 43 – to win the jackpot. Each retailer will receive a bonus of $3,000, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling one of the winning tickets.
The Illinois Lottery urges the lucky winners to sign the back of their tickets and keep them in a safe place until they visit one of the Lottery’s five Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights. Winners have one year from the original drawing date to claim their prize.
