AMITA Adventist Midwest Health LaGrange Project SEARCH Family Information Night

Come learn about Project SEARCH--A High School Work-Based Transition PROGRAM for ages 18-22 years. Event is open and free to the public.

Project SEARCH is a successful, collaborative-partnership job training model in it’s second year in Illinois. Project SEARCH centers around a unique, business-led, one-year, school-to-work program taking place entirely at the workplace. In Project SEARCH, student/interns have the opportunity to learn work and independence skills, within three internships, in addition to learning employability skills in a classroom design. The Goal of Project SEARCH is employment.

This General Information Session is open to the public and designed for parents of a student with disabilities who has a transition goal of competitive employment.

Come learn more about Project SEARCH on Thursday, January 14, 2016. The presentation is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. and end at 8:00 p.m.
