LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange police released their first regular police blotter in two months. Here is information from the reports:
Car burglaries
A wallet was stolen from an unlocked parked car on April 24 in the 100 block of Madison Avenue. The loss was estimated at $100.
Someone broke into a car through the rear driver's side window April 18 in the 100 block of Sixth Avenue. The steering column was damaged. The case is pending.
A bicycle was stolen from an open garage April 15 in the 900 block of Eighth Avenue. The bike was valued at $150.
Retail theft
A man and a woman walked out of Walgreens, 2 N. La Grange Road, with a cart full of stolen merchandise on April 7. The items were valued at $500. The case is pending.
Damage
A car's rear passenger window was broken April 17 in the 1000 block of Eighth Avenue. The damage was estimated at $300.
