Aging Care Connections (ACC), a trusted leader in senior care coordination, is celebrating an integration with the beloved Seniors Assistance Center (SAC) in Norridge, ensuring that the vital services SAC has provided for decades to older adults in Norridge, Harwood Heights, and Norwood Park Township will not only continue but thrive with access to ACC's comprehensive network of resources, delivering even greater independence, wellness, and community connection for those who need it most.

For 50 years, SAC has been a cornerstone of compassionate care, offering home-delivered meals, case advocacy, social programs, and essential information to help seniors aged 60 and older maintain dignified, active lives in their own homes. Now, as part of Aging Care Connections, area residents have access to an expanded set of programs and services.

"SAC's dedication to our community has been nothing short of inspiring, and we're thrilled to build on that legacy together," said Desiree M. Scully, MA, Executive Director of Aging Care Connections. "This partnership means no disruption to the familiar faces, programs, or location at 7774 W. Irving Park Road. Instead, SAC patrons will unlock a world of additional benefits, from specialized Medicare guidance and caregiver respite to innovative wellness classes and tools, all while preserving the local voice and input that have made SAC services so personal and effective. It's about amplifying what's already great, ensuring every senior in our neighborhoods can age with confidence and joy."

Key enhancements for the community include:

This move comes at a pivotal time, as Illinois' senior population grows and demands for affordable, accessible support rise. By uniting forces, ACC and SAC are not just sustaining services, they're elevating them, fostering a stronger, more resilient aging network right here at home.

Seniors, families, and community members, and media are invited to an open house at the Norridge site from 4-7pm on June 2, 2026 to meet staff, explore expanded resources and share feedback. For more information or to connect with services, call (708) 354-1323 or visit .
