LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange Road remains closed from 47th Street to Cossitt Avenue in both directions as of 11:35 a.m. Tuesday, according to the village.
Village crews continue working to repair the main breaks along the road.
The village said it would announce on its Facebook page when the road reopens. It said earlier that it had hoped to end the closure by 11 a.m. in both directions.
After water service is restored, the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency recommends that all residents in the water outage area boil water used for drinking for 48 hours as a precaution.
