LA GRANGE, IL – The top-paid employee at La Grange School District 102 in the 2025-26 school year was Superintendent Chris Covino, who started in 2023.
Covino made $244,282, which is up from the previous year's $225,000. He made 30 percent more than the second-highest-paid employee.
The top-paid teacher was Christy Schwartz, who made $130,100.
La Grange District 102, which has nearly 2,900 students, recently approved the release of the 2025-26 compensation list. It includes participants in the Teachers Retirement System. A few employees may have since retired or moved to other positions.
