Armed Robbery At La Grange Store: Cops

The clerk suffered a minor injury during the robbery, police said.

LA GRANGE, IL – The 7-Eleven convenience store at 9600 W. Ogden Ave. was robbed in late November, La Grange police said.

About 6:30 a.m. Nov. 27, a man entered the store, displayed a weapon and demanded money, police said. He left with an unknown amount of money, police said.

The clerk suffered a minor injury during the robbery, according to a police news release Friday. Police did not say how the clerk was injured.

The robber was described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with his face covered and wearing a black jacket. No other description information was given.

Police said they do not believe there are any threats to the public. They said extra patrols in the area have been established.
