Armed Trio Rob La Grange Store: Police

The masked suspects took money from the cash register, authorities said.

LA GRANGE, IL – Three masked people late last month robbed the 7-Eleven convenience store at 6 E. 47th St. in La Grange, police said.

The holdup was about 2:30 a.m. March 24, police said.

One of the suspects pointed a handgun at the clerk, while the three took money from the cash register and ran away, police said. They were said to be wearing surgical masks and hooded sweatshirts.

About 1 a.m. three days later, an unarmed person stole 20 packs of cigarettes valued at $324 from the same store, police.

Investigations into both incidents continue, police said.
