Assisted Living Community Breaks Ground In La Grange

LA GRANGE, IL — An assisted living and memory care community will break ground on Aug. 2 in La Grange. According to a release, Pathway to Living will break ground on Aspired Living of La Grange, a 116-unit planned for La Grange, at 3 p.m.

The groundbreaking will be followed by remarks from members of the development team, as well as La Grange Villa President Tom Livingston. According to the release, attendees will also learn about the floor plans, on-site amenities and programming offerings.

The community is expected to open in January 2020, and is located at 35 Shawmut Ave. According to the release, there will be 84 assisted living apartments and 32 memory care studios adjacent to Gordon Park and nearby retail stores.

According to the release, the community’s common areas will include a bistro/wine bar; community life room with demonstration kitchen; movie theater; art studio; all-day dining room; and salon and spa. On-site wellness amenities will include a therapy and fitness center, physician consultation area, and landscaped outdoor courtyard with walking paths.
