Attempted Murder Charge In LTHS Fight: Cops
A youth was arrested, while a victim remained in the hospital, authorities said.

LA GRANGE, IL – A second person was arrested Wednesday in the fight that occurred May 1 outside Lyons Township High School's North Campus, La Grange police said.
A juvenile was arrested on charges of attempted first-degree murder and aggravated battery involving great bodily harm, according to a police news release Wednesday night.
Police did not give the age, gender or hometown of the person and did not say whether the person was a student at the school. In an email, Village Manager Jack Knight said the police would not release any of that information because the suspect is a juvenile.

The altercation resulted in two injured youths, one of whom was severely injured and taken to the hospital, police said.
Last week, student James Hernandez Jr., 18, of Brookfield, was arrested on a charge of battery.

In a news release Wednesday night, the school said a student suffered "significant" injuries in the fight and remains in the hospital.
