Auditions (ages 6-14): Yes, Virginia... the Musical

PVPN, in association with the Westmont Park District, is very excited and happy to announce an open casting call for the final production of their 5th Anniversary Season: Yes, Virginia... the Musical!
Does Santa Claus really exist? That’s a question children have been asking for generations. In 1897, one precocious girl named Virginia O’Hanlon was determined to find an answer. Her letter to the New York Sun prompted one of the most famous editorials of all time and inspired future generations to believe in the holiday spirit.
This is a perfect show for all children, whether full of experience or new to the stage. “Yes, Virginia” contains speaking and singing roles as well as an active ensemble. Add in uplifting music and a fun, heartwarming story for a stage experience all will enjoy.
PVPN invites boys and girls from ages 6 to 14 to audition on October 11th (2pm to 5pm) and October 12th (7pm to 9pm) at the Westmont Park District Community Center located at 75 E Richmond in Westmont.
Auditions will consist of singing a few bars from your favorite classic or upbeat Christmas song and reciting a portion of “Twas the Night Before Christmas.” Slotted appointments are available online and will have priority, but walk-in auditions are welcome.
