Backpack Stolen At La Grange Fitness Center: Cops
In another case, a resident in a local neighborhood was charged with disorderly conduct, police said.

LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange police released their latest weekly blotter Friday. Here is information from the reports:
Theft
- A man told police Aug. 25 that someone stole his backpack while he was at the Park District of La Grange's fitness center, 536 East Ave. The backpack, which contained a wallet, was on the floor near lockers. The case is pending the park district's security video, which is presumably from areas of the center outside the locker room.
Disorderly conduct

- A 61-year-old man from the 900 block of South La Grange Road in La Grange was arrested shortly before midnight Saturday near his home on a charge of disorderly conduct.
Scam
- A resident in the 300 block of East Calendar Avenue was scammed out of $280 while trying to buy concert tickets online. The report was filed Wednesday.
