Battery, Money Theft: La Grange Cops
A contract worker was battered at the La Grange hospital, police said.

LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange police released their latest blotter Friday. Here is information from the reports:
Battery
- A contract worker was battered by a patient about 1:30 p.m. June 2 at the La Grange hospital, 5101 Willow Springs Road.
Money stolen

- Money was reported missing from a safe Monday at AdventHealth La Grange Family Medicine Center, 1325 Memorial Drive.
Scam
- A resident in the 600 block of Stone Avenue told police June 2 that she received a letter in the mail on supposed U.S. Secret Service stationary. The resident believes it was a scam. The case is pending.
Damage

- A vehicle's window was reported broken June 2 at Life Storage, 405 Shawmut Ave.
- A rock was thrown through a window at a house in the 100 block of South Park Road. The report was filed Thursday.
Harassment
- A person in the 10 block of Sixth Avenue told police Wednesday that a former employee is sending harassing text messages.
