Battery, Worker's Threats: La Grange Cops

A La Grange man was accused of battery this week, local police said.

LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange police released their latest blotter Friday. Here is information from the reports:

Battery

  • A 68-year-old man who lives at Circle of Friends Homecare, 42 S. Ashland Ave., was arrested about 5:30 p.m. Monday in the same building on a charge of battery.

Threats

  • A former employee of the Community Wellness Center, 4731 Willow Springs Road, threatened staff after being fired. The incident was reported Wednesday.

Theft

  • Someone stole items from a house under construction in the 100 block of North Brainard Avenue. The items included a lock box that contained the key to the house. The theft was reported Tuesday. An investigation continues.
  • Money was reported stolen from a patient's purse Thursday at Meadowbrook La Grange nursing home, 339 Ninth Ave.
  • A truck was reported stolen Wednesday from a parking lot at a business in the 300 block of Washington Avenue.
