BEDS PLUS and Center for Independence Through Conductive Learning are the 2017 Brew Moon Beer & Band Fest Charity Benefactors

Brew Moon Beer and Band Festival, the largest indoor craft and import beer festival in the western suburbs, is proud to support BEDS Plus and the Center for Independence through Conductive Learning. Proceeds from the 2017 event will be donated to both charities.

Each year, Lyons Township based charities are invited to apply for consideration through the Brew Moon online charity application process. “Brew Moon is a unique event in that we partner with private and government agencies, civic groups, and the non-profit community for one common purpose-to provide funding for local initiatives that improve the lives of people in our community, said event chair, Steve Palmer.

BEDS PLUS is dedicated to helping vulnerable individuals stabilize their lives through housing and supportive services. Since 1988, BEDS PLUS has given the homeless a safe place to sleep, hot homemade meals, professional counseling, and the job services they need to become self-sufficient.

The mission of the Center for Independence through Conductive Education is to help children with physical disabilities maximize their independence. We do this by developing their motor functions in a manner that creates positive self-esteem and self-direction and an “I can!” attitude

We are committed to improving the lives of disadvantaged, under-served children with physical disabilities with the ultimate intention of securing a better life that includes employment and independent living skills.

Palmer Place Restaurant and The McCook Athletic & Exposition (MAX), in partnership with the Kiwanis and Rotary Clubs of La Grange and the West Suburban Chamber of Commerce & Industry have teamed up to host the event on October 21, 2017 at 6 p.m.. The event is held at the MAX(The McCook Athletic Expo), located at 4750 Vernon Ave, McCook, IL. Mike & Joe will be performing at the event.
