The Best of Countryside Carnival - NEW LOCATION

June 30, 2016 - The Best of Countryside Carnival, sponsored by the Countryside Business Association (CBA) and the City of Countryside, will take place on July 14-17, 2016 in The Home Depot parking lot in Countryside Plaza (just north of Joliet Rd. on LaGrange Rd. in Countryside). This annual event was previously held in Countryside's City Park, but is being relocated this year to Countryside Plaza. Sheila Benson, CBA Executive Director, stated, "We are very excited about the new location! It is a larger space, allowing for the carnival to be even bigger and better than before. More rides, more food vendors, fantastic band line-up, and many "extras"; there will definitely be something for everyone!"

This year's band line-up includes: The Spazmatics (80s music) , ARRA (classic rock), Hillbilly Rockstarz (country), Recycle the Day (party band) as well as local favorites — The Scott Allen Band and Timeless. A variety of delicious food vendors, including Ledo's Pizza, Kenny's Irish Pub, Chick-fil-A, Moy Yuen, Shaved Up, Via Bella, and Zacarelli's will be on hand to satisfy hungry appetites. Beverages, beer, and wine will be available for purchase as well. Various vendors will be showcasing their services and products at the carnival, and some will be distributing free-bees, coupons, and special offers.

Mega Passes for unlimited rides all weekend from open to close can be purchased for a discounted price of $60 online at cbacountryside.com until 7/13/16 or at the Concerts in the Park in Countryside Park each Thursday evening through 7/7/16. Mega Passes will be sold at the carnival for $75 and Day Passes (4 hours of unlimited rides) will be available for purchase at the carnival as well.
