Art Lehmann U12 Tigers Win St. Charles Slammin' Wood Bat Tourney
The Art Lehmann U12 Tigers Baseball Team won the St. Charles Slamin' Wood Bat Tourney beating the Downers Grove Longshots after two extra innings, 6-5.
On Sunday, May 5, the Art Lehmann 12U Tigers Baseball Team defeated the Downers Grove Longshots, 6-5, at the St. Charles Slamin' Wood Bat Tourney.
Comprised of All-Stars from Western Springs, La Grange, La Grange Park and Westchester, the team is led by Art Lehmann whose son Keith Lehmann is a senior standout for the LTHS baseball team.
This marks the team's first championship this year. In April, the team placed 2nd at the Ft. Wayne, Spring Swing Baseball Tournament.
