LT Sophomore Madrigals Joined Plymouth Place Singers

The Lyons Township High School Sophomore Madrigal group paired with the Plymouth Place choir Tuesday, March 12th at Plymouth Place in LaGrange Park. LT performed Viva la Musica, O occhi manza mia, an Italian Madrigal, and In These Delightful Pleasant Groves, an English madrigal, while the Plymouth Place choir sang several Irish folksongs. The singers joined together on the Irish folksong Mairi’s Wedding.

LT choral teacher Alysia Lambert said, “The students and seniors are very excited about this opportunity. This concert is a chance to foster generational mentoring and is a rare opportunity, one that is very heart-warming to me.”
