St. Baldrick's Day in LGP at TCHMS

On March 9, 2013 from 2-6pm some very special people came together at The Children's House Montessori School to celebrate eachother and share an incredibly special few hours. For some, it has been more than ten years, for others it has been a few months. For one girl, it was a year, for many it was the first time. We came together, surrounded by loved ones, to shave our heads in an effort to raise money and awareness to conquer childhood cancer. The shavee who kicked off the event is our only veteran (she shaved last year). Our youngest participant is nine years old, our oldest participant, 68 years old. Through the combined efforts of these amazing people, this event has raised over $2,000!
Raffle Prizes were donated by: The La Grange Theater, Chimera's Comics, Steven's Collectibles, Fireside, Kirschbaum's Bakery. Contributions for the guests were donated by Great American Bagel, Caribou Coffee in Willowbrook, The Fruit Store, and The Children's House Montessori School
