Bring your Little People to See the Little People at the Zoo

Brookfield Zoo hosts "Little People Live!" musical show Oct. 1 and 2.

Most of us who were born after 1959 probably spent part of our toddler years playing with Fisher-Price Little People. You remember those wooden peg figures with the round heads, don’t you? Now they are made of plastic and a lot more detailed but they are still based on the original ones that I once played with.

Now the Little People toys have become a huge brand and even include live musical shows. Their latest show will be at the Brookfield Zoo, 3300 Golf Rd., on Oct. 1 and 2 with shows at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The show will be a big animal celebration that will feature music, singing, dancing, and fun surprises. The 30 minute show will be held at the zoo’s Pavilions. The cost of the show is $2 per person for adults, children and seniors and all attendees (including children under the age of 2) need a ticket. Reservations are required. To register and for further information, click here. The seating is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Admission to the zoo is required to attend the show. Admission to Brookfield Zoo is $13.50 for adults and $9.00 for children 3 to 11 and seniors 65 and over. Children 2 and under are admitted free.  If you plan on going to the zoo often, why not become a member? For options, click here.
