Burglary, Identity Theft: La Grange Cops

A burglary was reported in a local neighborhood, with $1,000 in items stolen, police said.

LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange police released their weekly blotter Friday. No one was reported as being arrested in the last week. Here is information from the latest reports:

  • A locked bicycle was stolen between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. Friday at Ogden and Locust avenues. It was valued at $800.
  • A resident in the 500 block of East Avenue told police Tuesday that someone changed the resident's direct deposit information without approval. No financial loss was reported.
  • Someone broke into a storage locker and stole several items in the last two weeks in the 10 block of South Stone Avenue. The items taken in the burglary were valued at more than $1,000.
  • A resident in the 100 block of East Avenue told police Thursday that someone opened a Lending Club account in the resident's name. No financial report was reported.
