"Holiday Classics" with The Illinois Brass Band

What better way to enjoy the music of the holiday season than with the majestic sound of brass. Come join music director Stephen Squires and The Illinois Brass Band for an evening filled with of the music and sounds of the season.

With the holiday season quickly approaching it is time to order your tickets to our ever popular “Holiday Classics.” These exciting and upbeat performances suitable for young and old alike will be filled with Christmas fanfares, popular Christmas favorites, sacred carols, and will featured vocalist, Amy Bearden.

The performance will take place at 5:00 PM, Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the First United Methodist Church of LaGrange, 100 Cossitt Avenue, LaGrange. IL.

Tickets, available now, may be purchased in advance at illinoisbrassband.org by visiting our performance tab or at the door immediately prior to the performance. Adults $15, Children $5 (18 and under), and Families $35, which includes 2 adults and up to 4 children.

The program will include “Symphonic Highlights from Frozen,” “The Little Drummer Boy,” the Andrew Wainwright arrangement of John Rutter’s “Dormi Jesu,” as well as many other holiday favorites. The Illinois Brass Band is excited to premiere a new transcription of George Fredrick Handel’s, “For Unto Us a Child is Born” and the Andrew Wainwright arrangement of “In The Bleak Midwinter.” The performance will close with “The Glory of Christmas” a traditional sing along as arranged by William Gordon.
