The La Grange Area Historical Society invites you to do just that. The 2026 Exhibit Grand Opening May 8th and 9th, An Evening Through Time, is not your typical exhibit preview—it’s an immersive, after-hours experience where history comes alive around you. As you move from decade to decade, you won’t just see the past, you’ll taste it, hear it, and feel it. Enjoy era-inspired cocktails, savory bites, and desserts while surrounded by authentic artifacts, vintage garments, and the stories that shaped the La Grange community from 1890 to 1970.

Guests are encouraged to dress from their favorite decade (or simply come as you are) and step into an evening designed to transport you. Whether you're a history lover, a foodie, or just looking for a unique night out, this is an experience unlike anything else in the area.
