Car Crashes Into La Grange Highlands Home: Police

LA GRANGE HIGHLANDS, IL — A car crashed into a house in La Grange Highlands in the early morning hours of April 14, the Cook County Sheriff's Office said. At about 6:30 a.m., police received a report of a car that had crashed into a home in the 5300 block of Edgewood Avenue. No one was in the vehicle when officers arrived, and no one was home at the time of the crash, police said.

According to police, neighbors heard a loud noise around 4 a.m. but could not determine where it came from, so it is likely the crash involving a 2004 Escape occurred at that time.

Cook County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the incident.
