Carjacking Tried Next To La Grange Police Station

The man was arrested in front of the station, according to a report.

LA GRANGE, IL – A man attempted to do a carjacking earlier this week near the La Grange Police Department, authorities said. It apparently didn't work out so well.

Gregory Logan, 51, of Maywood, was arrested on charges of attempted vehicular hijacking and possession of a controlled substance.

The victim went into the police station's lobby about 2:30 p.m. Sunday to report the carjacking. Officers arrested Logan in front of the station at 304 W. Burlington Ave., police said.
