Cars Broken Into At La Grange Fitness Center: Cops
A purse and backpack were stolen from the cars, police said.

LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange police released their latest blotter Friday. Here is information from the reports:
Car burglaries
- Someone broke a window of a woman's car and stole her purse at the La Grange Fitness Center, 536 East Ave. Another car at the center was broken into around the same time, with a backpack stolen. The incidents were reported in the early evening Thursday. An investigation continues.
Damage

- A resident in the 600 block of South Waiola Avenue told police Saturday that an overhead garage door was damaged while the resident was away on a trip. It was possibly caused by a car.
Thefts
- Building materials and copper pipes were reported stolen Monday from a home under construction in the 200 block of Sawyer Avenue.
- A client stole travel-size products from a salon at 1 W. Harris Ave. The theft was reported Monday. The items totaled $21.45.
