Celebrate National Library Card Sign-up Month at the La Grange Park Public Library

September is National Library Card Sign-up Month. You probably already know that your library card gets you more than just books (and movies, and music, and games. . .). With a library card, you have 24/7 access to dozens of online resources for consumers, businesses, students, and more. Your card also allows you to download audiobooks and eBooks right to your mobile device or eReader and get live homework help for grades K-12.

Unfortunately, not everyone is aware of all the great benefits of having a library card. It’s hard to believe, but about 38% of La Grange Park residents aren’t members of the Library! If you know one of these unlucky folks, fill out the form found in our fall newsletter or pick up one at the Library, give it to them, and send them to the Library. If they apply for a card you’ll both be entered into our prize drawing! One iPad mini will be awarded as the grand prize. We’ll also have lots of other rewards, including gift cards and travel mugs.
