We have been told for the past 50+ years that saturated fats are the main cause of heart disease. Science has shown us that with saturated fats, it increases our LDL levels (bad cholesterol) and decreases our HDL levels (good cholesterol). Since this research has come out, we have been a drastic incline in heart disease. Why do we continue to see this? What if science back then had it all wrong? We are starting to see science admit they have been wrong. On a recent show of Dr. Oz, he had a guest who is the author of a book called, “Grain Brain,” and throughout the show, even Dr. Oz, was stating how, after all these years, I had it wrong. He would tell individuals to stay away from meat, saturated fats and so forth.
As there is always something bad, there will always be something good. Since BAD saturated fats increase heart disease, GOOD saturated fats do the opposite. Here is a list of things you can start consuming today that will boost your heart health plus every other cell in your body.
