Commercial Filming In La Grange Impacts Parking, Roads

LA GRANGE, IL — A commercial filming will close some streets in downtown La Grange and impact parking. According to the village, the commercial for Weathertech will be filming exterior scenes in downtown La Grange on May 15 and May 16.

Filming will be each day around 5 a.m. and will end around 9 p.m. A water truck and sprinklers to create rain as well as a few fans to create wind will be used, according to the village.

All downtown businesses will be open during filming.

Roads and parking impacted include:

• On Tuesday, May 15, there will be no parking on the east side of La Grange Road from Harris to 75 South.

On Wednesday, several more locations will be impacted.

• No parking on the south side of Harris from Madison to La Grange from 6 a.m. to noon.
• No parking on the south side of Burlington Avenue from Ashley to 24 W from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• There will be intermittent traffic control along Harris between 6 a.m. and 11 a.m.
• Harris will be closed from Madison to La Grange Road from 9 to 11 a.m.
