Coronavirus: No La Grange Nursing Home Cases
Local nursing homes do not show up in reports on cases and deaths.
LA GRANGE, IL — State reports show that neither of La Grange's nursing homes have any reported coronavirus cases or deaths. The state's latest update came out Sunday.
The nursing homes are Lexington of La Grange and Meadowbrook Rehabilitation. Some in La Grange have suggested cases have occurred at Meadowbrook. But they may be confusing that facility with another in the same company, Meadowbrook Rehabilitation in Bolingbrook, where the state reports 51 cases and three deaths.
In La Grange Park, Plymouth Place and The Grove nursing homes have no reported cases or deaths related to the coronavirus.

In Cook County, health authorities have reported 116 coronavirus-related deaths at nursing homes and other long-term care facilities.
Two weeks ago, the state started releasing numbers of coronavirus cases and deaths at nursing homes after some facilities seemed to be downplaying the problem.
