LA GRANGE, IL - A fourth grade teacher at Cossitt Avenue School in La Grange has received a national honor from one of the country's most prominent and elite institutions. Alex Parker was honored at Yale University recently with the Teacher Action Research Prize for his presentation at the Yale Education Leadership Conference about his groundbreaking work with the Nora Project., according to a news release from La Grange School District 102.

The Nora Project aims to normalize difference, demystify disability and promote meaningful connections between students and their peers with disabilities.
