5th Annual Countryside Business Association (CBA) Thanksgiving dinner for local low-income families and senior citizens at Capri Banquets.
The Countryside Business Association (CBA) board members, along with volunteers from the City of Countryside and the local community, served Thanksgiving dinner to low-income families and senior citizens on Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015 at Capri Banquets and Catering, 6240 Joliet Road in Countryside. Guests enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving meal prepared by Capri Banquets, and each family received a grocery bag filled with non-perishable food items, purchased with donations made by Jewel-Osco, Continental Honda and BlueSky HomeCare. Andy’s Frozen Custard donated coupons for a free treat, which was included in each bag of groceries.
Father Lorenzo Gamboa, Assoc. Pastor at St. Cletus Parish, gave a Thanksgiving blessing.
