Customer Grabs La Grange Business Employee: Cops

In another case, a woman's purse and its contents were stolen, police said. The value was more than $2,000.

LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports:

Battery

  • A customer who was upset about not being helped grabbed an employee about noon Monday at the AT&T store at 1 N. La Grange Road. The employee was not injured.

  • A woman dropped her purse as she was getting out of the car Wednesday at Grapevine Mediterranean Gourmet Café, 9 W. Hillgrove Ave. It was later stolen. The value of the purse and its contents was more than $2,000.
  • A bicycle valued at $500 was reported stolen from an unlocked garage Friday in the 100 block of Seventh Avenue.
  • Cosmetics valued at $600 were reported stolen Monday at Walgreens, 2 N. La Grange Road. An investigation continues.
  • A backpack that was left unattended on a lawn was reported stolen Tuesday in the 10 block of West Maple Avenue.
