Dance forms like Zumba and yoga are becoming more and more popular as a means of staying in shape. It is no shocker, considering just how physical beneficial dancing is for all ages! Dance can increase muscle strength, endurance, flexibility, and balance while improving agility and body awareness. Impact focuses on these components, even with our youngest dancers! This can also translate into other areas beyond dance, helping develop good posture, increase coordination for sports, and serves as an excellent outlet for stress and relaxation. Most importantly, dance is a wonderful way for children to stay active and healthy serving as a form of exercise. Because the body is of such value in dance, children learn to respect and cherish their bodies, in turn promoting self-care. Dancers develop in so many different ways, and they do it all while having fun!
