A young orphan finally gets a chance for a real family after years of being a workhorse, but first she will have to let go of her fantasy life. This coming of age story is a wonderful adaptation of Lucy Maud Montgomery’s novel “Anne of Green Gables”. This story has become a Canadian classic and is one of the few musicals to portray rural life in the early part of the 20th century.
