Blessing of the Animals 2012

Realizing the important role pets play in people’s lives, the Village Church of La Grange Park has scheduled a special
service to honor and celebrate all creatures of God’s creation and the special relationships we share with them. A blessing of animals witnesses to the world
God’s love and the Church’s concern for creation. As we recognize our mutual interdependence with God’s creatures, the Church’s witness of stewardship is
strengthened.

All animals are welcome provided they are under physical
control (leash, harness, crate, etc.) and are safe to be around others. If your pet is unable to be present, an article representing them (picture, collar, toy, halter, etc.) will be blessed on their behalf.

The Blessing of the Animals will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2012 10-1pm at 1150 Meadowcrest Road.
