La Grange Carnival Comes to Town

Rides, games, food and fun are on their way to La Grange as the village welcomes its annual Carnival from June 1 - June 3.

The yearly event is presented by the La Grange Business Association, and will feature traditional carnival rides as well as live music and a DJ throughout the weekend.  One of the highlights of Carnival weekend is the 66th annual La Grange Pet Parade, which begins at 9:30AM on Saturday, June 2 and concludes at noon as the Carnival opens.

The carnival will operate from 5PM to 10PM on Friday, noon to 10PM on Saturday, and noon to 7PM on Sunday.  From noon to 4PM on Saturday and Sunday, the Carnival will offer unlimited ride specials, charging only $20 per person per session.

Located on Harris Avenue between La Grange Road and Ashland Avenue, the Carnival will offer a multitude of rides as well as a beer garden and food vendors.  This year, the food area will be expanded to include fare from La Grange area restaurants in addition to traditional carnival offerings.

A new feature at this year’s Carnival will be a greater focus on entertainment.  Visual and musical acts from the La Grange area will perform throughout the weekend.
