La Grange Craft Fair

July 14-15 marks the 38th Annual La Grange Craft Fair, when the downtown business district will be lined with 175 booths housing art and craft vendors from the area.  One of La Grange’s most popular summer events, the Craft Fair will offer a broad range of wares, from original paintings to handmade clothing along La Grange Road from Cossitt Avenue to Burlington Avenue and west on Harris Street to Ashland Avenue.

The fair will take place from 9AM – 6PM on Saturday and from 10AM – 5PM on Sunday. Expanded free parking is available in the covered garage behind Village Hall and in the Cossitt School lot.

Patrons can find food booths on Harris Avenue, as well as lemonade and popcorn stands on La Grange Road.

An addition to the Craft Fair this year will be increased participation by many La Grange retailers, who will offer special promotions and incentives throughout the weekend.  Shoppers should look for Gold Cards in each craft tent, as well as in storefronts marked by gold balloons.

These cards can be redeemed for special promotions and sales in each store.  Additionally, each purchase made will grant the customer one entry into a raffle drawing, which will include $25 gift baskets from La Grange retailers, as well as the grand prize of a weekend for two to Chicago.
