LEAVING IOWA, LATTE Theater - A toast and roast to the all American, classic, family road trip”.

Have you ever, as a parent or child, been trapped in the family vacation vehicle awaiting “wonderful destinations” that turn out to be… well… not so wonderful? 

LEAVING IOWA is a tribute to the “greatest generation”.  It is a toast to their idealism, and a little tad of a roast to the unfailing dedication to the “all American, classic, family road trip”.

 It not only is a trip down nostalgia lane, bit a poignant tale of an existential journey of a son, while reflecting on the past vacations, finds peace and closure in the present. Most of all, it is just FUN!

LATTE is incorporated in Illinois as a nonprofit organization.  Our focus is to educate teenagers in both the theatrical arts and the business of operating a community theater in the LaGrange Area. “Theater for teens, by teens, with teens” is provided with a focus in teaching life skills, leadership development and empowerment.
