Universe reveals a wondrous 13.7 billion year evolutionary story of cosmic, planetary and human emergence, a story of boundless depth so alluring and yet so astoundingly huge. People who hear the new story and begin to engage its realities are awestruck and yet often feel overwhelmed by the immensities, paradox and unfathomable mystery it unveils. Many say, “It’s too much to take in.” “It boggles my mind.” “I need space and time to ponder its meaning.”Marinating in the Mystery offers an opportunity to pause and delve deeper. Each month, by inviting participants to enter the new story through different portals, individuals will be deeply immersed into a particular aspect of the story. The intention of each session will be to awaken the intellect, engage the senses, arouse the imagination, and ponder our existence. Participants will be encouraged to stretch boundaries and integrate a deeper conscious awareness of their place and participation in this continually emerging cosmic evolution.

September 16 | Part I in the series:
Making Room for the Immensities
The new story tells us we live in an ever-emergent Universe of mind boggling immensities. Unless we live our lives with at least some cosmological awareness, we risk collapsing into tiny contained spaces with antiquated worldviews. In this session we will begin to expand our cosmic imaginations and embody a deeper knowing of our planetary place in Universe’s unfolding story. Look for the next session on October 21 when we will explore the “All Nourishing Abyss.”
Ann Schreckenberger is a spiritual seeker, writer and spiritual director deeply allured by the story Universe reveals and the awakening of a new spiritual consciousness. Her on-going quest is the evolution of a cosmic spirituality that emerges from 21st century knowledge and invites the human into a deeper mystery of where we are, who we are, and what our purpose is on Earth at this evolutionary moment in time. Ann is a graduate of The Institute for Spiritual Leadership where she received her certification in Spiritual Direction and holds a MA in Spirituality, Loyola University Chicago.
