Looking for a way to escape our January cold? Stroll through La Grange Art League’s “Pounding Surf” Exhibit. This artwork is so inspiring that you are sure to imagine yourself on a beach some place warm! The winner of this exhibit will take home the Charles Vickery Award. Vickery, a master seascape painter, taught at LGAL until his death in 1998. Also this month, Laura Sein-Svencner will give a free collage demonstration on Sunday, January at 2:00 pm in honor the 100th anniversary of collage as a fine art.
