Gerard Straub is a documentary filmmaker and an award-winning author of six books. His latest book, Hidden in the Rubble, is based on his experience in Haiti during the aftermath of the horrific earthquake of 2010.Mr. Straub will share film clips that uncover the devastating poverty in some of Earth's worst slums. He will also share his personal story of conversion that impelled him to move from making Hollywood movies to filming documentaries that invite us into solidarity with the world's most vulnerable people.
