The Tower Chorale Announces High School Vocal Competition

Opportunity to solo in May concerts

The Tower Chorale will hold its sixth High School Vocal Competition on Saturday, February 18, 2012 in LaGrange.  The winner will receive a $200 cash prize and will be a soloist at the May 5 and 6, 2012 Tower Chorale concerts at Nazareth Academy Auditorium, LaGrange Park, IL.  Application information has been sent to local high schools and private voice teachers.  Entries and recordings must be postmarked by February 6, 2012.

The Tower Chorale, under the direction of Patrick Godon, is an 80-voice community chorus comprised of amateur and professional singers, including former members of the Chicago Symphony Chorus and various community theater and music organizations. Many church choirs are also represented.  Known for musical diversity, this non-profit organization has been one of the premier music groups in Chicago's western suburbs since 1986.   To learn more about The Tower Chorale, visit www.towerchorale.org.
