World traveler Bill Helmuth returns to the La Grange Park Library to present "Traveling Through Syria" on Monday, March 7 at 7pm. This is a fascination look at Syria beyond politics and religion that uncovers the people and their multi-ethnic, millennial-old culture. Along the way, you will visit the extraordinary Roman Ruins of Palmyra, the ancient Christian Citadels in Homs, and the Grand Mosque in Damascus.
